Howard Meeks of Terre Haute is retired and spends a lot of his time pursuing his favorite pastime—fishing. He also likes to play Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs for fun.
Howard typically purchases Scratch-offs at a couple of retailers close to his house. One day he stopped at his local Marathon to buy a couple of $10 Million Dollar Spectacular Scratch-offs. He scratched them in his car in the parking lot and was shocked to see that one of the tickets was a $10,000 winner.
Howard immediately called his wife to share the good news, and she was in disbelief. He also called his grandson, and he was also very happy that Howard won.
Howard plans to put his winnings in savings.
