Delbert Redford is a farmer and, appropriately enough, lives in Farmland. When he’s not busy working around the farm with his son, he likes to play Scratch-offs.
One day when he stopped at the local Pak-A-Sak, he saw there was a new game and decided to buy a $30 200X the Cash Scratch-off. When Delbert scratched the ticket in his car, he was elated to see he won the top prize of $30,000.
He immediately called each of his three children and asked them to guess how much he had just won. None of them guessed anywhere close to $30,000, but they were all very happy for Delbert when he told them his prize amount.
Delbert plans to use some of his prize money to fix his car or purchase a new one. He also plans to donate a portion of his winnings to his church.
