Evelyn Blocker occasionally plays Hoosier Lottery games that she buys when she’s at the grocery store. The retired home health aide purchased a $3 Pinball Wizard and was shocked when she revealed a top prize of $50,000.
“I got all excited,” Evelyn said.
The prize comes at a useful time for Evelyn and her husband, who has been battling health issues.
Evelyn has a large family in Pennsylvania she plans to visit at Christmas.
The winning ticket was purchased at Kroger, 5350 E. Thompson Road in Indianapolis.
