A Connersville man who bought Scratch-offs on his way into work was excited to discover on his break time that he won $50,000.
Diemer Taylor works as a mechanical engineer at PK USA in Shelbyville. He stopped at Circle K, 1005 N. Riley Highway in Shelbyville before his shift and bought three $3 Lucky Lines Scratch-offs. During his break, he scratched and realized he won.
Diemer said he grabbed his chest and then showed his coworkers. He texted a picture of the ticket to his wife but called to share the good news when she didn’t reply.
The prize money will go toward down payments for a house and a car, Diemer said.
