Indianapolis resident Brandon Fyre won a $50,000 prize on the May 29th, 2019 Powerball draw, after purchasing a ticket at Marathon Mini Mart.
This is Brandon’s second big Powerball win, as he had previously won a $10,000 prize. He woke up the morning after the draw, and checked his ticket on the Hoosier Lottery app. In disbelief at the large prize amount, he thought his phone might be malfunctioning, and woke his wife up to check the ticket on her phone as well.
Fyre plans to use the prize money to pay off his car, as well as plan a vacation.
