Hoosier Lottery Powerball® tickets should be checked carefully as two $50,000 winning tickets were sold over the long holiday weekend. 

For last Wednesday's drawing, a $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at One Stop 2 located at 3425 Lincolnway West in South Bend. The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, Nov. 27, are: 1-6-7-13-40 with the Powerball of 5.

For Saturday night's drawing, a $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at JPR Food Mart located at 729 W. 30th St. in Connersville. The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, Nov. 30, are: 4-24-29-39-63 with the Powerball of 25.

Players can check their tickets with the free Hoosier Lottery Mobile App.

The ticket holders should ensure their ticket is in a secure place, consider meeting with a financial advisor and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886 for specific claim instructions.

Since its first drawing in 1992, Powerball has inspired the country with a chance to become a millionaire, while raising $25 billion for good causes supported by lotteries. Indiana had the very first Powerball jackpot winner in 1992 and leads the nation in Powerball jackpot wins with 39.

The Powerball jackpot for Monday, Dec. 2, is an estimated $224 million.
