Tickets purchased in Allen and Marion counties should be checked

Hoosier Lottery Powerball® and Double Play® tickets should be checked carefully as one Powerball entry matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball in Wednesday night's drawing and another entry matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball in the Double Play drawing. 

A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Sparky Mart I located at 11310 Old Decatur Rd. in Fort Wayne.

A $50,000 winning Double Play ticket was purchased at Circle K #2294 located at 6402 W. 10th St. in Indianapolis.

The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, Sept. 6, are: 9-14-20-23-63 with the Powerball of 1.

The winning Double Play numbers for Wednesday, Sept. 6, are: 1-12-30-50-55 with the Powerball of 10.

Players can check their tickets with the free Hoosier Lottery Mobile App.

Since its first drawing in 1992, Powerball has inspired the country with a chance to become a millionaire, while raising $25 billion for good causes supported by lotteries. Indiana had the very first Powerball jackpot winner in 1992 and leads the nation in Powerball jackpot wins with 39.

The Powerball jackpot for Saturday, Sept. 9, is an estimated $500 million.
