Wednesday’s $1.3 billion jackpot is the 5th largest in game history and 9th largest in U.S. lottery history

Although the Powerball^® jackpot was not won over the holiday weekend, Hoosier Lottery Powerball players won approximately $3.5 million on more than 200,000 winning tickets that were purchased at Hoosier Lottery retailers for the Aug. 30 and Sept. 1 drawings. Players should check their tickets carefully as a $2 million, three $150,000 and four $50,000 winning tickets were amongst those winning tickets.

The following winning Powerball tickets were purchased for the Saturday, Aug. 30, drawing:

• $2 million winning Powerball with Power Play^® ticket was purchased at B.K.D. Marathon at 3208 E. Coliseum Blvd. in Fort Wayne
• $150,000 winning Powerball with Power Play ticket was purchased at Family Express #56 located at 2430 N. Lebanon St. in Lebanon
• $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Indy Mart located at 3005 E. 10th St. in Indianapolis
• $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Prospect Retailers, Inc., located at 1440 E. Prospect St. in Indianapolis

 The following winning Powerball tickets were purchased for the Monday, Sept. 1, drawing:

• $150,000 winning Powerball with Power Play ticket was purchased at Strack & Van Til #8748 located at 1600 Pioneer Trail in Chesterton
• $150,000 winning Powerball with Power Play ticket was purchased at Maysville Marathon located at 9501 Maysville Rd. in Fort Wayne
• $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Casey’s #3990 located at 22045 County Road 6 in Elkhart
• $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was purchased at Center Food Mart located at 3448 E. 300 South in Kokomo

The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday, Aug. 30, are: 3-18-22-27-33 with the Powerball of 17 and Power Play of 3X. The winning Powerball numbers for Monday, Sept. 1, are: 8-23-25-40-53 with the Powerball of 5 and Power Play of 3X. Players can check their tickets with the free Hoosier Lottery Mobile App.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, Sept. 3, is an estimated $1.3 billion. This is the fifth-largest Powerball jackpot in game history and the ninth-largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.
