What started as a typical day turned into an unforgettable one for James Campbell of Columbus when he won the $417,298 Wild 10s Fast Play jackpot.

Campbell began his day enjoying breakfast at Sunshine Café in Seymour before heading out to run a few errands. Later, he stopped to grab a burger for lunch and decided to purchase a Wild 10s Fast Play ticket. He has been playing occasionally since he saw the rolling jackpot for that game was above $300,000 and climbing.  

When he returned home, Campbell sat down to check his ticket. Starting at the bottom, he carefully reviewed each row. “Not a winner, not a winner,” he said with each row. He continued, “Not a winner, not a winner, not a winner….” 

As he read the top line of the ticket, Campbell shouted, “Jackpot!” He had just won the Wild 10s Fast Play jackpot worth an incredible $417,298!

Excited to share the news, Campbell called his stepson and sister to tell them about his winning experience. His sister has often talked about wanting a new car. She is 90 years old but still drives and lives on a mountain, so reliable transportation is important. After confirming his jackpot win, Campbell called her and said, "You'd better start looking for that car."

The $417,298 winning ticket was purchased at Meyer’s Grocery located at 8031 S. State Road 58 in Columbus.
