Wayne Hopson of Evansville walked into Hoosier Lottery headquarters on Oct. 26, 2018 to claim a $50,000 Powerball prize. Wayne, a retired GE employee, was joined by his wife Pam of 42 years. Both had purchased tickets, but Wayne’s ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball number. Wayne plans to do some home repairs with some of his winnings.
The numbers from the Oct. 20, 2018 Powerball drawing are 16-54-57-62-69 and the Powerball number is 23. Wayne bought his ticket at Evansville Motomart located at 6328 Division St.
