Though Jerry Suite is retired, he drives a truck for extra income and to stay busy. In his free time, Jerry loves working on a 1985 Monte Carlo SS, his future show car.

Not only is Jerry passionate about restoring cars, he’s also a loyal Hoosier Lottery player. He has been playing since the lottery began in 1989 and makes sure to buy a ticket when there is a large jackpot. The more than $750 million Mega Millions® jackpot prompted Jerry to buy a ticket. When he returned to the gas station later that week, he checked the previous drawing’s winning numbers and realized that he had matched four of five numbers, plus the Mega Ball. 

Jerry told his wife that he had matched several numbers and she responded, “So what does this mean?” Together they looked up the Mega Millions prizes online and realized Jerry had won $10,000!

Jerry plans to use the prize money to put the finishing touches on his Monte Carlo SS and take it to car shows this summer, which his wife is very excited about.
