Louise Andrew is a recently retired insurance agent. She stays plenty busy with home projects and helping care for her grandchildren and grand-dogs. Louise’s sisters encouraged her to start playing the Hoosier Lottery to join in their fun. Louise enjoys playing Scratch-offs because she says the fun part is scratching the ticket to find out if you won.

While at a Hoosier Lottery retailer, Louise noticed the bold look of the $30 7 Scratch-off and bought three tickets. She put the tickets in her purse to scratch later. The next day while pumping gas, Louise remembered the tickets in her purse and began to scratch them. “I thought I had won $20, but then I looked closer,” Louise said about realizing that she had won $20,000!

Louise called her husband right away to share the news. “You’re kidding!” her husband exclaimed. “Call our accountant!”

Louise has yet to tell her sisters about her big win but plans to do so when the four of them get together for dinner next – she’s even going to pick up the check with the prize money. She also plans to use the prize money to buy graduation gifts and will save the rest.
