Eric Lake of Shelbyville enjoys spending time outside of work fishing and riding his motorcycle, as well as playing Hoosier Lottery games. 

He recently purchased a $50 Luxe Millions Scratch-off at Love’s Travel Stop in St. Paul after stopping in to cash a few tickets and deciding to buy a few more. He chose the $50 Luxe Millions ticket after having won $100,000 on the same game just a couple weeks prior. 

While still in the parking lot, he scratched the ticket and realized he won. He then used the Hoosier Lottery app to scan the ticket and confirm it was a winner. 

He said it felt great to win but was very shocked. “I never expected to win back-to-back,” he shared. 

He immediately told his wife, who was also shocked by the news. 

Eric and his wife plan to use the prize money to move to Florida and will save the rest.
