Columbus resident Cody McNealy likes to play the lottery, especially Scratch-offs. One night, Cody and his mom stopped to get gas on their way home. While there, Cody bought a $3 Ice Cold 7s ticket and immediately scratched it.

When it revealed that he won the top prize of $30,000, Cody was stunned. He showed the ticket to his mom, who asked the clerk to scan it to make sure it really was a winner. He and his mom were both thrilled when the clerk confirmed the win.

Cody plans to buy a second vehicle with his winnings.
