Carlotta Montgomery of Indianapolis loves to play both Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs and Draw games. Carlotta's previous biggest win was $1,500, which she won about 30 years ago on a Scratch-off.

Carlotta had stopped at a gas station on her way to work and purchased two $10 Double Red 77 Scratch-offs. She scratched the tickets and was stunned when the second ticket revealed the top prize of $277,000. The disbelief and elation she felt were palpable.

She immediately called her husband, who didn’t answer because he was in the middle of a golf game. When he returned her missed calls, he was thrilled to hear about Carlotta’s win. She also shared her joy with her three children, who were equally excited for her.

Currently employed at a guitar center distribution warehouse, Carlotta intends to put the prize money toward paying off her mortgage, securing her retirement and enjoying a well-deserved vacation to Gulf Shores, Alabama
