John King of Plainfield adores his 16-year-old rescue dog, Pookie. While John works in his “office” (a laptop in his garage), Pookie sits beside him to keep him company. 

Pookie and John will have something new to look at in the garage once John hangs his $21,000 Quick Draw souvenir check on the wall. 

John was on his way to Michigan for a sales call when he stopped just before crossing the state line for a drink and a Quick Draw with BULLSEYE ticket. Quick Draw is John’s favorite Hoosier Lottery game. 

“It’s fun to play, and you win a little bit here and there. Of course, you hope you might win a big prize one day,” John commented on why he likes to play Quick Draw.

John was sitting in his car when he began to check his ticket. “Yes, yes, yes!!!” he called out after every number he matched. After matching 9 out of 10 numbers and winning $21,000, John was elated.

John plans to pay off his car with the prize money, and maybe spoil Pookie a bit with the rest.
