“I KEPT COUNTING THE WORDS OVER AND OVER.”

Richard Krieg of Fishers walked into Hoosier Lottery headquarters on August 5, 2019 to claim his $100,000 top prize from his win on the $5 Wild Cherry Crossword 5X Scratch-off. Richard, a former Marine, is an avid crossword player. “I knew I had one at least $100 or maybe $500,” said Richard. “I kept counting the words over and over.”

Richard and his wife plan to put some of their winnings into savings, give some to their church and give some to a local mission.
