Steve of Granger is retired after working 55 years as a carpet installer. For fun, he likes to play Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs.

After purchasing a few $50 Cash Extravaganza Scratch-offs when he was at the grocery store, Steve went home and scratched them. When the third ticket revealed he won the game’s top prize of $3 million, Steve couldn’t believe it.

“I must have looked at that ticket 20 times to make sure,” Steve said.

Still not quite believing his eyes, he went back to the store to scan the ticket. When he saw confirmation of his win, Steve said, “It was crazy!”

Steve plans to use his winnings to pay off his home mortgage and will save the rest.
