Jose Ramirez Duran of Lafayette was surprised to learn that he won $50,000 playing the popular Draw game Powerball®. Jose loves playing Draw games the most, and he likes to pick his own numbers.

He found out that he won while on a break at his warehouse job when he scanned his tickets on his phone using the Hoosier Lottery app. He immediately showed his brothers, and he was in total disbelief when the numbers all matched up.

Jose wants to use the money to help his mother and to be able to pay for his daughter to go to college.
