Theresa Wang and her husband live in the small town of Oxford, about 30 minutes northwest of Lafayette. Most days Theresa stops at the Valero Oxford Food Center on her way home from her job at Franciscan Hospital and buys a few Scratch-offs.

When the app confirmed her win, she immediately phoned her husband and said, “You won’t believe what happened to me!” Her husband was very happy when it turned out to be good news.
Theresa plans to put her winnings in savings for now.
