Soon after arriving at work, a Danville man scratched a $50 Luxe Millions ticket worth $20,000 and then spent the next 8 hours trying to contain his excitement and keep his win a secret.

“I started shaking when I saw I won $20,000,” he recalled. “Then I realized I had to keep my mouth shut for the next 8 hours.”

He recently began playing Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs because they add a little play to his day. He purchased the $50 Luxe Millions Scratch-off when he stopped to get gas on his way to work. 

Once he arrived at work, he took a minute to scratch the ticket’s QR code and scan it using the Hoosier Lottery’s mobile app. He wasn’t sure what the message stating he would need to contact the Hoosier Lottery to claim his prize meant, so he quickly scratched the rest of the ticket. 

He plans to keep his win a secret and to use his winnings to pay a few bills.
