Paul S. of New Castle has been retired for many years. He fills his free time by watching TV, especially sports and NASCAR. He’s also a grandfather of one and soon-to-be two grandchildren. 

To add a little play to his day, Paul plays Hoosier Lottery Draw games. 

“I like that they’re easy,” Paul explained. “You get a quick pick and you’re done.” 

Paul’s straightforward approach to playing the lottery rewarded him with a $1,000 Mega Millions® win a few years ago. But that win paled in comparison to his most recent one.

Paul was watching the evening news as usual, when he grabbed his Chromebook and checked his tickets. Slowly, as he matched his CA$H 5 ticket’s numbers, he became more excited with each prize that he thought he’d won. 

“I thought, ‘Oh, free ticket, that’s nice’; then it was, ‘$15, that’s even better’; until finally I realized I had won the jackpot!”

Paul’s heart was beating wildly, and he began to get very hot and even shed a layer of clothing after realizing he had won the $768,478 CA$H 5 jackpot! He couldn’t fall asleep until about 5 a.m. after the thrill. 

Paul plans to invest his winnings and play a few more Draw games.
