Willie Carter, Jr., had just moved into his new apartment when he decided to purchase a Daily 4 ticket.

Willie was subbing for a coworker and working the third shift at Heartland Foods. He woke up around noon and remembered he had bought a ticket and looked at the numbers on the Hoosier Lottery app. Though a little sleepy, Willie instantly recognized the numbers and jumped up to get the ticket out of his truck.

After seeing that he won $25,200, Willie called his brother to share the news. His brother was shocked and elated about Willie’s win.

Willie plans to pay off the new furnishings he purchased for his apartment with the prize money.
