Darwin Young of Muncie recently claimed a $100,000 Top Prize after playing the Hoosier Lottery’s $50 Power 50X Scratch-off. 

Darwin works as a pallet shop supervisor and enjoys woodworking and playing the Hoosier Lottery in his free time. 

On Saturday morning while running errands, Darwin decided to stop and purchase a $50 Power 50X Scratch-off ticket. 

After returning home, he sat down in his office chair and scratched his ticket. When he saw he had won the game’s $100,000 Top Prize, he did not believe it. He asked his wife to check the ticket, and then he scanned the ticket using the Hoosier Lottery Mobile App. Despite his wife and the app confirming his win, Darwin still couldn’t believe it was real. 

Darwin said he was in shock. The next morning, he even asked his wife if he had actually won or if it had all been a dream. 

Darwin plans to put his prize money into savings.
