During James Romines’ morning break from his job as a diesel mechanic, he goes to the nearby gas station and buys his weekly Mega Millions® and Powerball® tickets. James is a long-time Hoosier Lottery player who dreams of winning a large prize one day.

One morning at work, James took a few minutes to check his Powerball® ticket for the previous night’s drawing. Seeing that he had matched several numbers, James called his wife to tell her he’d won, though he wasn’t sure how much. He sent his wife a picture of the ticket, and as she carefully examined it, she realized James had won $50,000, which was much more than he was anticipating!

James and his wife plan to pay a few bills with the prize money and will put the rest toward the Florida beach vacation they have planned.
