Richmond Hoosier wins $40,000 top prize on Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off
Michael Turley, Richmond, Ind., is partial to the Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off bingo and crossword games. “I find these games really fun and entertaining,” he said. “It takes a while to figure out if you win or not and you feel like you really get your money’s worth!”

After purchasing a $3 Frosty Bingo Doubler ticket at University Shell on Chester Boulevard in Richmond, it wasn’t until several days later he realized he had a winning ticket.

Shortly after the ticket was scanned, Michael knew he won – he just didn’t know how much until he visited the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment Office in Indianapolis.
Upon his first review of the Scratch-off, he figured out he won $1,000.

Upon arrival in Indianapolis, he was told by the Prize Payment officials he had won $40,000 – the top prize on the Frosty Bingo Doubler Scratch-off. “I was absolutely shocked! Stuff like this just doesn’t happen to regular people like me!” Michael exclaimed.

Michael is excited to take a long overdue vacation and put some money away for a nice rainy-day fund.
