A Martinsville man recently claimed a $10,000 prize after playing the Hoosier Lottery’s $20 Red Hot Millions Scratch-off. 

Now retired from his day job, he works as a truck driver and enjoys playing the guitar and Hoosier Lottery games in his free time. His favorite Hoosier Lottery games are Scratch-offs. 

While out grabbing lunch, he stopped at the Circle K located at 1645 South Ohio Street in Martinsville and decided to purchase a few Scratch-off tickets. He had previously won $500, the largest prize he had ever won, and decided to buy a few more tickets, including the Hoosier Lottery’s $20 Red Hot Millions Scratch-off. The $10,000 prize is now the largest Hoosier Lottery prize he has ever claimed, making the win very memorable. 

Later that day, while sitting at his dining room table, he began scratching his tickets. The winning ticket was the last one he scratched. As he scratched the ticket, he uncovered a 5X symbol that ultimately led to a $10,000 prize. 

The winner said he was shocked and that it took him a few minutes to fully realize he had won. His wife was sitting at the table with him and initially didn’t believe the ticket was a winner. 
He had since shared the exciting news with family and friends, who all congratulated him on the win. 

The winner plans to use the prize money to pay bills.
