Columbus man focused on family after $50,000 Powerball® win

Lloyd Pluris from Columbus, Ind., is a $50,000 Powerball® winner after matching four-out-of-five numbers and the Powerball. Lloyd typically enjoys playing CA$H 5, but he decided to switch it up a little bit the day he purchased the Powerball ticket. The decision worked out well. He had originally purchased a CA$H 5 ticket and won a small amount. He then decided to purchase a Powerball ticket.

Lloyd utilized the Hoosier Lottery website to check his numbers. After realizing he won, he connected with his daughter who scanned his ticket via the Hoosier Lottery App to confirm the prize. This is Lloyd’s largest win, as we has previously only won a free ticket or $4.

The only immediate plans Lloyd has is “spoiling the grandkids and great-grandkids.”
