Kim from Cambridge won a $50,000 prize on Powerball

The day she bought her winning ticket, she had gone into the gas station to purchase a Hoosier Lotto ticket, and she decided to purchase a Powerball Quick Pick ticket on a whim. She bought the ticket on a Wednesday for the drawing that night. She forgot about her ticket for a few weeks until she went to Colorado to see her son. That is where she finally checked her numbers online and yelled for her son, “It’s an emergency!” because she wanted him to double check the numbers. Once he realized she had won a $50,000 prize on Powerball, he was extremely excited for her.
