Gerris A. won a $100,000 prize on Powerball

Gerris A. from Marion, IN enjoys playing Powerball® and Quick Draw. On the day she bought her winning Powerball ticket, she had won $20 on Quick Draw, so she decided to use some of her winnings to purchase two Powerball tickets. She decided to go a retailer to check her Powerball ticket, and she a notice to claim her prize at the Hoosier Lottery office.  When Gerris left the retailer, she got in her car and called the Hoosier Lottery customer service to double check.  She found out that she had won $100,000 and immediately called her son in disbelief, and her son was very excited for her. When asked what she plans to do with the prize money, Gerris said “I plan to pay off several medical bills with the prize money and just take it one day at a time.”  Congratulations Gerris!
