Player from northeastern Indiana wins $50,000 top prize on his $3 Wild Cherry Crossword Tripler Scratch-off

One of the most memorable days for any husband and wife is the birth of their first child. For Hoosier George Cleaver, the day his first child was born will be memorable for a multitude of reasons. To help pass the time in the hospital with his wife, Cleaver decided to buy a few Scratch-offs to play while they waited. After sharing the good news about the win with their family, George’s wife soon went into delivery. George told the doctors in the delivery room, and before he knew it, the Cleavers were the talk of the hospital. Never had someone come in to have a baby and, also, happen to win the top prize on a Scratch-off ticket the same day.
