Kodi Lee, a 24-year-old from Indianapolis, just scored a grand prize win of $10,000! That’s a whopping one thousand times his largest win ever! Kodi isn’t usually one to buy Scratch-offs often, but every now and then, especially when his dad gets in on the fun, he likes to treat himself to a ticket or two. When he got home, Kodi and his family gathered around to scratch their tickets together. Up until now, his biggest win had been just $10, so he was just enjoying the moment. But as he scratched his ticket, he revealed a win and couldn’t believe his eyes! He had won the top prize of $10,000!

He was so overwhelmed with excitement that he kept checking the ticket, saying he “checked the ticket 45 times” just to make sure it was real. He thought his family might be pulling a prank on him with a fake ticket, saying "this can't be real!" After scanning it on the Hoosier Lottery app and confirming his win, Kodi couldn’t hold his excitement in any longer.

He quickly called his brother and girlfriend to share the news, but they were a bit skeptical, saying, “Yeah right, I’ll believe it when I see it!”

Kodi is excited about his win and plans to spend some of his winnings on taking his family out to dinner, buying some Pokémon cards and paying off a couple of bills.
