Curtis Nelson of Franklin enjoys playing Hoosier Lottery Draw games. He particularly likes Fast Play games because they are instant tickets. Curtis stopped at Joe’s Junction while on a work break and noticed that the Hoosier Lottery was holding an event at the store to promote the new Team USA tickets.

He decided to buy a couple of the $5 Team USA Fast Play tickets. With his break almost over, Curtis needed to get back to work, so he put the tickets in his pocket and headed back to the warehouse he works at.

Once back at work, he scanned his tickets using the Hoosier Lottery app and saw that the last ticket he bought was a $10,000 winner! Curtis was shocked. He immediately told his boss that he needed to leave work to claim the prize, and his boss, stunned as well, let him leave.

Curtis immediately called his wife and family, and they were all very excited for him. He raced to the Hoosier Lottery’s Indianapolis office and was completely full of glee when it was revealed that he was the first winner of the new Team USA Fast Play ticket.

Curtis plans on using the prize money to pay some bills.
