Winner Stories
Arlean Griffin of Anderson is a long-time Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off player who recently discovered the fun of playing Fast Play games. When Arlean noticed the Fast Play games at a local retailer, she was intrigued and decided to purchase a ticket. She won $9 and decided to start buying a couple Fast Play tickets whenever she bought Scratch-offs.
After attending her granddaughter’s graduation, Arlean stopped to get gas and purchased a few $2 Max the Money Fast Play tickets. She checked her tickets when she got home and saw that she won $4 on the first ticket. She looked at the second ticket and was shocked to see she won the $29,294 jackpot.
“I threw the rest of the tickets down,” she laughed.
She then called her son to share her good news. “No way!” he exclaimed. “You’re lying.”
Knowing he was at work, Arlean headed straight over to the barbershop her son owns. She showed him the ticket, and all he could say was, “Wow!”
Arlean plans to use her winnings to purchase a car to make getting to and from her job at Anderson Community Schools a little easier. She also wants to give some to her family and her church.
