An Evansville man who likes to purchase Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs to add some play to his day recently claimed a $100,000 top prize.
He was on his way home from work and noticed he was low on gas. He stopped at a Speedway to refuel and decided to purchase two $50 Power 50X Scratch-offs. He went back to his car to scratch them and was in disbelief when one ticket revealed a $100,000 top prize win.
“There’s no way!” he blurted out.
Anxious to share his good news, he told his family members, who were all thrilled for him.
“It still hasn’t sunk in,” he said upon claiming his prize money.
He plans to buy a new vehicle and put the rest of his winnings in the bank.
