Hoosier wins $25,000 Top Prize playing Scratch-off

Even though she typically buys $5 and $10 Scratch-offs, Eugenia Larkins, a data entry clerk from Indianapolis, decided to change up her routine while shopping at Safeway Foods and try the $20 $25,000 Deluxe Cash Scratch-off. “I don’t think I would have bought that ticket if the person in front of me hadn’t talked me into it,” Eugenia said.

After she bought the Scratch-off, she walked over to the counter in the store to reveal the numbers. She was incredibly shocked when she saw that she won the Top Prize. “I had zero emotions at first,” said Larkins. “I just kept thinking ‘this can’t be real.’”

When she got home, Eugenia said she kept scanning the ticket over and over again just to make sure that the win was real. Eugenia has received nothing but congratulatory messages from the people that she has told. “As of now, I’m excited to add this money to my savings account,” said Larkins.
