Hoosier Lottery player places late night call to her mom to celebrate win

Donna Gayles won $50,000 playing her favorite Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off, $30 Extreme Cash. Donna was settling in for the night and decided to check her tickets using the Hoosier Lottery App. She won $100 from her first ticket. Then, when she scanned her second ticket she first thought it read $50, but did not have her glasses on and was not entirely confident she was reading the number correctly.  Once she put on her glasses she saw it read $50,000! “I could not believe it!” Donna recollected. “Even though it was late at night I immediately called my mom to tell her the news.” Donna’s mom was shocked and kept asking, “Are you serious, Donna?”
