Ryan Braun of Decatur recently claimed a $500,000 Top Prize after playing the Hoosier Lottery’s $20 Supreme Gold Scratch-off. 

Ryan enjoys fishing, spending time with his family, hanging out with his Golden Retriever and playing Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs. 

Ryan purchased his winning ticket at D & D Timesavers, located at 509 Belmont Road in Decatur. He said it is a retailer he visits often and where he regularly purchases his Hoosier Lottery tickets. 

He initially stopped at the retailer to redeem a $20 winning Scratch-off ticket, but while waiting in line, Ryan noticed a Hoosier Lottery machine and decided to purchase a few tickets. He selected the $20 Supreme Gold Scratch-off because he knew the game had been available for some time and he had not played it in a while. 

After purchasing his tickets, Ryan drove around to the back of the retailer to scratch them. His first two tickets were both $10 winners. He then scratched his $20 Supreme Gold ticket and scanned it using the Hoosier Lottery mobile app. 

When the app instructed him to visit the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, he knew he had won something larger than expected. 

He immediately called his fiancée to share the news. 

Ryan and his fiancée are still in shock and have shared the exciting news with family. The couple plans to use a portion of the prize money for home improvements and will save the rest.
