Travis Hays of Columbus recently claimed a $500,000 Top Prize after playing the Hoosier Lottery’s $30 Multiplier Mania Scratch-off. 

Travis stays busy working two jobs, owning his own business and traveling throughout southern Indiana for work. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, racing cars on dirt tracks and playing the Hoosier Lottery. 

He often stops at the Circle K on State Road 160 in Henryville, a convenient stop on his way home, where he likes to grab gas and coffee. During one recent visit, while waiting in line, the customer ahead of him purchased a few $30 Multiplier Mania Scratch-offs, which prompted Travis to buy one as well. 

After heading back to his vehicle to finish fueling up, he scratched the ticket and could not believe what he saw. To be sure, he scanned the ticket using the Hoosier Lottery app, which prompted him to visit the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office. 

He immediately called his dad to share the news. Travis also called a co-worker and his family, and they were just as excited. 

Travis plans to use his prize money to support his family, give back to causes that are meaningful to him and save the rest.
