Paul Ruff is planning to retire from his job as a low-voltage electrician this August. His dream for retirement was to purchase land and start a vegetable farm. After winning the CA$H 5 jackpot amount of $581,451, Paul’s dream will become a reality.

Paul is a long-time Quick Draw player, but in the last few years he decided to split his purchases between Quick Draw and CA$H 5. Paul’s work requires travel around the state, so he purchases tickets wherever he is working.

When Paul checked his ticket and realized that he had won, he called his daughter to share the news. His daughter in disbelief asked, “Are you sure you won?” She visited Paul the next day to check the ticket for herself.

Paul hopes to expand his backyard passion for growing vegetables on a larger scale with his prize money by purchasing land for a small farm. He plans to grow enough vegetables to sell at his own produce stand.
