Indianapolis resident Emily stays pretty busy driving her kids to all their sporting events and practices. When she’s not playing chauffeur, she likes to play Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs for the fun they bring to her day.

When her husband was at the grocery store, Emily called him and asked him to pick up a Scratch-off for her. He brought home a $50 50X the Money, and Emily scratched the QR code on the ticket. She scanned it using the Hoosier Lottery’s app, and the couple was surprised to see a message stating the prize was too large to cash at a retailer.

Not knowing how much she won, but wanting to savor the excitement, Emily waited a couple of hours before scratching the prize amount.
