A Bloomington woman was stunned when she realized she won the top prize on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off.

After running errands, she stopped at a Circle K to get gas and picked up a $50 50X the Money Scratch-off. She scratched it while still in the gas station parking lot and didn’t think she won anything at first. Wanting to be sure, she scanned the barcode and was surprised to see a message stating her prize was too large to claim at a retailer. She looked the ticket over but didn’t see where she had matched any of the winning numbers.

“I thought the message had to be an error,” she said. “Or maybe I won something small.”

There was no error. After examining the ticket “for what must have been 10 full minutes,” she said, the woman finally saw a matching number and was shocked to see she won $100,000!

She plans to use her winnings to travel.
