As a birthday present, Terence Adams’ wife bought him several exotic fish for his fish tank. Within minutes, all of them had been eaten by the other fish in the tank. 

“They must have been a gourmet snack to them, because they were gone in no time,” Terence chuckled about the debacle. 

Tinkering with his fish tanks and observing his fish is one of Terence’s favorite retirement hobbies. He has downsized his fish tank hobby after some medical issues, but he has found the right combination of gadgets and wildlife to keep his tanks clean with minimal effort. 

Another way Terence likes to have fun is by playing CA$H 5.

“I like that it’s only five numbers, and it costs just a dollar,” Terence said about why he likes to play CA$H 5. “I’m retired, so I can’t spend a lot playing the Lottery, but I have a buck to spare.” 

Terence and his wife were grocery shopping at Meijer when Terence stopped by the Hoosier Lottery vending machine to check tickets he had saved in his wallet. As he scanned his tickets, an unfamiliar message popped up informing him that his prize amount was too large to cash at a retailer. 

Excitedly, Terence and his wife rushed to the Service Center to have the clerk scan their ticket, and she received the same response. Once they got home, Terence and his wife realized Terence had won the $95,000 CA$H 5 jackpot!

Terence called his best friend to tell him the news. “I’m so happy for you, Terry! I had heard on the radio that someone had won, and I was going to ask if it was you,” his friend replied.

Terence and his wife plan to pay off some bills with the prize money. With any leftover money, a road trip to the Carolinas might be next on the list.
