Hoosier Lottery players tries $30 Scratch-off for first time and wins $50,000 top prize

Amy Motz from Stroh, Ind., won a $50,000 top prize on the $30 Extreme Cash Scratch-off! Amy likes playing Scratch-offs and CA$H 5. The day she purchased the big winning ticket, she had $30 from a previous Scratch-off win and decided to use those dollars to buy a $30 Scratch-off for the first time. She sat in her car while parked at the gas station and scratched the ticket.  As she started scratching she immediately saw one of her numbers was 48 and indicated the associated prize of "$50,000." She kept saying, "Wait, what?" After staring at it for several minutes, she had her friend inside the gas station use the Hoosier Lottery App to scan her ticket. Her friend started screaming and told her, "You won $50,000!" 

Amy, who works for a company called Quality Inspection, is incredibly happy and plans on using some of the money to remodel her house.
