Hoosier Lottery player wins $10,000

Allison Perdue, an Uber and food delivery service driver from Columbus, Ind., recently celebrated a $10,000 prize playing the SET FOR LIFE: $10,000 A MONTH Scratch-off.

“I had $20 on me that day,” recalled Allison. “When I went into the gas station there were two Scratch-offs that caught my eye, so I tried them.”

Allison scratched one on the way out of the store and one in the parking lot. Instantly, she knew she had a win. “I just about had a heart attack and was pacing back and forth. I flipped over the ticket and kept looking. I scanned it and scanned it and scanned it. I even turned my phone off and back on thinking this isn’t real. And it was!”

The first person Allison told was her little sister, who replied with, “You’re lying! Let me see it! No way!”

Allison plans to dedicate some of the winnings to her sister.

When asked about what she likes about playing the Hoosier Lottery, Allison said, “I just like to scratch the tickets and have a chance to win big.”
