When choosing the $30 Multiplier Mania Scratch-off, Danny stuck to his usual approach of picking the tickets that look like the most fun to play that day. It’s a style of play he enjoys, and he has won $5,000 and $10,000 in the past. 

As he began scratching his $30 Multiplier Mania ticket, Danny revealed a $500 prize and was already thrilled. But the excitement didn’t stop there. Danny then scratched his multiplier, which gives the player a chance to win 2X, 3X, 5X, 10X or 20X the win on this ticket. When he scratched the multiplier, he couldn’t believe it—a 20X. Just like that, his $500 win jumped to $10,000!

Danny still had more to play and eagerly continued. He scratched off more numbers, found another matching number and scratched the prize underneath—another $500 prize. As he quickly did the math, it hit him—with his 20X multiplier applied again, his total winnings came to $20,000!
