Indianapolis resident Amy Estep likes to play Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs to add some fun to her day. One Saturday morning, she began scratching a few tickets she had purchased earlier in the week and was stunned when a $5 Money Bags revealed the top prize win.

“Does that say $10,000??” Amy wondered aloud. As she paced around her kitchen, unable to contain her excitement, she scanned her ticket on the Hoosier Lottery’s app. Once she was certain of her win, Amy quickly called her boyfriend to share the news.

He thought she was joking, but once Amy sent him a screenshot of the ticket, he joined in her excitement, yelling, “Woo hoo!”

Amy plans to use her winnings to pay a few bills and buy some extra Christmas presents for her family.
