The Hoosier Lottery is participating in Responsible Gaming Education Month in September, an initiative of the American Gaming Association to promote responsible play. For the Hoosier Lottery, a recipient of World Lottery Association (WLA) Level 4 Certification for upholding the highest level of responsible gaming, this serves as a continuation of responsible gaming education and awareness. 

Responsible Gaming Education Month promotes gaming literacy, consumer education and elevated employee training to advance the understanding of responsible gambling.

The Hoosier Lottery encourages positive play by providing many free online resources at HoosierLottery.com, including a Track Your Play Calculator to help players track their spending and an educational Positive Play video library. 

Beginning Sept. 7, the Hoosier Lottery will hold a Responsible Gaming Education Month social media giveaway. Players can follow the Hoosier Lottery on Facebook or Instagram and complete an entry form through a link provided in the promotional post. To enter, players will be encouraged to explore the website's Positive Play Flip Tips and share what they learned from those tips. Entries will be accepted through Sept. 14, and five players will be randomly selected to receive a Hoosier Lottery Positive Play Prize Pack valued at more than $200.
