An Eaton woman recently claimed a $50,000 prize after playing Powerball®. 

She enjoys spending time with her family and playing Hoosier Lottery games with a close group of friends. As part of their weekly routine, she purchases lottery tickets for the group, making it a fun routine they all look forward to. 

After returning home from spending time with her group of friends, she realized she had a winning ticket. Wanting to be sure, she scanned it using the Hoosier Lottery app, which instructed her to visit the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office. 

She immediately texted the group to share the news. “I was flabbergasted. I couldn’t believe it and thought it wasn’t real,” she said. Her friends were thrilled when she told them. 

The winner plans to use her prize money to take a vacation to Tennessee and save the rest.
