RULES AND PROCEDURES GOVERNING THE HOOSIER LOTTERY 2025 ST. PATRICK’S DAY SHAMROCK SEARCH

The State Lottery Commission of Indiana (“Lottery” or “Hoosier Lottery”), hereby promulgates these rules and procedures (“Official Rules”) governing the Hoosier Lottery 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Search (“Promotion”), authorized under 65 IAC 1-7-1. This Promotion is open to players who become eligible for participation by complying with these rules and procedures.

A. PURPOSE
The Promotion will be held to promote the Hoosier Lottery's presence at St. Patrick’s Day activities in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis. The Promotion will also drive traffic to multiple pages on the Hoosier Lottery website. 

B. PROMOTION PERIOD & DRAWING DESCRIPTION
Promotion period will begin at 12:00 a.m. ET on Monday, March 10, 2025, and the Promotion entry deadline will be at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, March 17, 2025. Drawing will be held on or about Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the Hoosier Lottery Headquarters located at 1302 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis.

D. ELIGIBILITY

1. This Promotion is open to legal residents of Indiana who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
2. State Lottery Commission of Indiana members, officers, and employees, and any relative(s) (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and/or person(s) residing in the same household of such member, officer, or employee are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. This restriction applies mutatis mutandis to the Lottery’s Integrated Service Provider, IGT Indiana, LLC, (“IGT”). 
3. Members, directors, officers, or employees of a major procurement vendor of the Hoosier Lottery and/or IGT, and any relative(s) (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and/or person(s) residing in the same household of such persons are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
4. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

E. HOW TO PARTICIPATE  

1. Players must visit hoosierlottery.com and complete the “Shamrock Search” by clicking the shamrock icons located on different web pages. After finding and clicking on five (5) shamrocks, players will arrive at the Shamrock Search entry page and will be prompted to create or log into their myLOTTERY account to submit their entry.
2. Players can only enter the Promotion once.  
3. An automated “Thank You” message will be displayed to notify the player of a completed entry into the Promotion. The “Thank You” message notification is only evidence that an entry has been received and does not indicate that the entry is valid.
4. All entries submitted in the manner as described in these Official Rules will be eligible for an entry in this Promotion. Hand delivered or mailed in entries will not be accepted for this Promotion and will be deemed invalid and destroyed.

F. ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning a prize are dependent upon the total number of entrants.

G. DRAWING, WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIMING OF PRIZE

1. Five (5) winners will be selected in the Drawing (with one (1) Grand Prize Winner and four (4) Secondary Prize Winners). These winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received by using a random number generator from random.org under the supervision of a member of the Lottery Security team. A total of five (5) alternates will be selected for the drawing. The first winner selection will preliminarily be awarded the Grand Prize. The Secondary Prize Winners may only be notified and claim after the Grand Prize has been claimed. Winner selections will be matched to prizes in a descending order as winners are disqualified. (E.g., the second drawn entrant will be the first alternate for the Grand Prize, and so on.)
2. The winning entries for this Promotion will be notified in writing via email and by phone call with email address and phone number provided with the entrant’s contact information. Winner must claim prize within five (5) business days. After five (5) business days, the prize may be offered to an alternate. If all alternates are exhausted, the prize(s) shall be forfeited.
3. To claim a prize, winning participants shall be required to provide necessary information, including, but not limited to a valid government ID. Player’s entry name must match the name on their government ID in order to claim a prize.
4. Upon timely presentation of winner information, the entry will be validated, and eligibility will be verified as described in Section D of these Official Rules.
5. Once verification and authorization of the winner are complete, Prize will be provided to the winner. 
6. Prize may be claimed by mail, but the winner must have an Indiana address.
7. Prize awarded during this Promotion is not transferable. 
8. Promotion winners may be required to participate in publicity and marketing efforts. Examples include, but are not limited to, an interview with Hoosier Lottery individuals, television, radio and/or newspaper reporters and/or photographers/videographers. This information may be used in future media, the Hoosier Lottery’s website and social media, in-store Point of Purchase materials or other marketing efforts without additional consent or compensation to the Promotion winner.

H. GENERAL RULES AND PROVISIONS

1. The rules and procedures set forth in these Official Rules shall govern this Promotion. These rules may be amended at any time by the Lottery without advance notice. 
2. The Lottery’s Executive Director or her designee may, at any time, announce a suspension or termination of the Promotion, without advance notice and in the Executive Director’s sole discretion, at which point no Prize shall be awarded. None of the Lottery, the Executive Director, IGT, or any employee thereof, shall have any liability whatsoever for any such termination.
3. By participating in the Promotion each person agrees to comply with and abide by Indiana law, rules, and regulations as well as the terms and conditions of the Lottery website and all final decisions, policies, or procedures of the Lottery in relation to the conduct of this Promotion. Any dispute arising which relates to any aspect of this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of Indiana. 
4. In the event of a dispute arising out of these Official Rules, the player’s remedy is limited to entry in another promotion with prizes of a similar value.
5. The Lottery, IGT, and their agents are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to or alterations of the Promotion, failure to receive claim, winner, or other Promotion information for any reason whatsoever.
6. The Lottery is not responsible for issues with account accessibility or Promotion entries due to technical problems associated to software, hardware compatibility or internet access. 
7. By entering this Promotion, each entrant agrees to follow these Official Rules and to indemnify, hold harmless, and waive any claims against the Hoosier Lottery and any of the affiliates, associates, directors, officers, agents, representatives and assigns of the Hoosier Lottery arising directly or indirectly, out of, or in any way connected with, this Promotion or the prizes awarded in connection therewith.
